Covid-19 Pandemic Relief by Yogoda Satsanga Math — Dakshineswar

Given the challenges faced by the nation due to the recent worldwide COVID-19 crisis, Yogoda Satsanga Math — Dakshineswar reached out to local authorities to offer help to the poor and the destitute who are the most vulnerable at the moment.

The local councillor shared a list of needy persons who are 400 local daily labourers and poor people who are in need of dry food ration. YSS stepped forward and contributed 600 kg of rice and 30 kg of mustard oil for them. These items were handed over to the councillor and his team from the Ashram premises for distribution.

The Dakshineswar ashram also distributed dry ration to 300 families of poor and daily wage labourers through the Officer-in-charge of Belghoria Police Station on April 8, 2020. The food items included 1200 kilos of rice, 150 kilos of pulses, and 150 kilos of mustard oil.
