Mahavatar Babaji Smriti Divas was celebrated simultaneously at Garpar Kendra and Guruji’s parental home - 4, Garpar Road. The ancestral home of Gurudeva was opened to devotees on this special day to commemorate the sacred event.

Swami Amaranandaji conducted the programme at Garpar Kendra while Brahmachari Achyutanandaji led the congregation at 4, Garpar Road on the evening of July 25, 2017.

On this sacred day, both the locations were filled with devotees gathered to offer their obeisance to the two Great Gurus - Mahavatar Babaji and Paramahansa Yoganandaji. It was on this holy day that the deathless Guru Mahavatar Babaji had appeared to Gurudeva, Sri Sri Paramahansa Yoganandaji at his 4, Garpar Road residence.

The programme started with Energization Exercises, Chanting and Meditation followed by Pushpanjali with Bhajans and Prasad distribution in the end. On this auspicious evening about 40 devotees attended the program at Garpar Kendra whereas the 4, Garpar road residence was filled up with almost 100 devotees.
